Social Media Influencers Needed
Right now in the U.S., 1 in 5 people live with mental illness and 5 in 5 are affected by it.
Often, they suffer in silence and shame due to the stigma that we’re trying to banish and the barriers to healthcare access and affordability that we’re trying to remove.
Now COVID-19 is making that struggle much more intense – and we need your help.
- Can you help NAMI RI show people who are struggling that: #notalone?
- Will you be a voice for change by joining our fight for #mentalhealthforall?
- Will you spread the word that NAMI RI provides free education, resources, and advocacy for individuals and families living with mental illness in RI by being a #voice4namiri and #namirially?
Before COVID-19, much of our work was in-person through groups and trainings. It has been a tough transition to virtual, but we’re here continuing the work – and we’re getting a new website soon too!
